How the calculator works
Poppy loans have a fixed total to repay, which includes all fees. That total is divided into equal weekly repayments over the term. A shorter term means a higher weekly repayment but a lower total cost. A longer term lowers the weekly repayment but costs more overall.
If you enter your average monthly sales, the calculator also shows what share of a normal week’s sales the repayment would take. Check that it’s comfortable in your quieter weeks too. Our guide on how much your business can borrow explains how to think about this.
